Hi! I am Danielle.

I am so grateful that you are here.

Me and my mother, Joanne were best friends and have always been into fashion together, taking risks with style and trends but always classic and cool. My mother Joanne or “JoJo”, had always been ahead of her time when it came to fashion and design, and her style was admired by all who knew her. She had a unique talent for blending classic elegance with bold, modern touches, creating a style that was all her own.

After my mother passed away very suddenly, I was devastated and left picking up the pieces. It was like an atomic bomb had shattered my world. I had to relearn and rethink everything I ever knew. During this process of healing, rebuilding, and letting go, I inherited her mother’s house and belongings,
including her closet. Cleaning out my mother’s valuables was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. It took time, it took strength beyond measure.

Over the course of the following years after she passed, with many rounds of elimination, trips to storage units and Good Will—I always held on to these special layerings pieces she had. Almost fifteen years later, these pieces still remain hanging in my own closet today—I call them the JoJo.
